The 3rd edition of the Torrent line continues the tradition of lightweight performance. Hoka has increased the durability of the 4mm lug outsole while decreasing the weight by introducing a single layer engineered mesh.
At 7000 Feet Running Company we feel the Torrent 3 is significant improvement from the Torrent 2 as the toe box has been given a bit more space and thePROFLY midsole is significantly more responsive in the forefoot.

The 4mm multidirectional lug system has been upgraded for increased durability while retaining excellent grip on uneven and wet terrain.
·Single Layered Mesh
Made of recycled materials the single layer mesh replaced the double layered mesh of the Torrent 2. The single layer mesh is lightweight and breathable combined with TPU overlays for added protection and durability.

PROFLY midsoleHoka's lightest and most responsive foam allow runners to smoothly transition through the nastiest terrain. The midsole provides excellent shock absorption during heel impacts while remaining hyper responsive through the toe off.
